When I was shooting video on the Oscars red carpet in 2022, I overheard a journalist ask Jamie Lee Curtis about her new movie “Everyone Everywhere.” “It’s called ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once,’” she said with a wry smile. “And by this time next year, everyone will know the name of that movie.”
When you’re right, you’re right. And this year, Jamie Lee Curtis’s Oscar look was right. I’m not normally one for “simple elegance” (yawn) or Dolce & Gabbana (yikes) but I’ll be darned if Jamie Lee Curtis didn’t deliver, deliver and deliver. The styling, the poise, the vibe all says exactly who she is: an industry veteran of Hollywood pedigree with an Oscar under her belt and nothing to prove to anyone. — Shane O’Neill
