Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to his girlfriend, Georgina Rodrguez, and his mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, on Sunday, May 5, Portuguese Mother’s Day.
In a post featuring a series of photos, Ronaldo expressed his love, writing, “Feliz dia da me para as melhores do mundo,” which translates to “Happy Mother’s Day to the best (mothers) in the world.”
The images included a sweet family photo of Ronaldo, Rodrguez, 30, and all their children, dressed casually and posing on a picturesque boardwalk against a backdrop of the ocean and sunset.

Ronaldo also shared two heartwarming pictures with his mother, one showing them sitting on a statue of a lion when he was a young teenager, and another where they embraced, smiling for the camera.
As a father of five, Ronaldo’s family includes Cristiano Jr., 13, born via surrogate in 2010, twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 6, born in June 2017 also via surrogate, and Alana Martina, also 6, born in July 2017 with Rodrguez.
In a bittersweet update, Ronaldo and Rodrguez revealed in April 2022 that one of their twins, Angel, had passed away. The couple’s youngest child, Bella, 1, is Angel’s twin sister.
Life goes on
Despite the loss, Ronaldo and Rodrguez continue to cherish their time together, recently enjoying a beach day with their children in March and a vacation in Saudi Arabia in April. The couple appears content with life in the Middle East, where Ronaldo has been playing for Al-Nassr FC.
As Ronaldo’s journey continues both on and off the field, his dedication to family remains a cornerstone of his life. CR7’s contract with Al-Nassr still has a season to run, but the player seems open to extending it.
