In this edition, 16 teams compete over 32 matches to be played as follows: from June 20 to July 2, the Group Stage, the Quarterfinals from July 4 to 6, the Semifinals from July 9 to 10, the Third Place on July 13, and the Grand Final on July 14.
Conmebol‘s 10 affiliated teams participate, plus six invited teams from Concacaf, as happened in the Centenario edition of the tournament, held in 2016, also in the United States.
