The Copa America 2024 will be held from June 20 to July 14 and for the second time, the United States will host the event. This edition will feature the 10 teams of Conmebol and six representatives of CONCACAF.
The CONMEBOL representatives are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, while for Concacaf there will be: United States, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica.
A total of 32 games will be played in a format that will begin with a group stage in which the four teams from each group will play against each other to determine the eight teams that will qualify for the quarterfinals.
The opening game will be on June 20 when Argentina and Lionel Messi will face Canada at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, home of the NFL’s Falcons, while the final will be on July 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, home of the Dolphins.
What time are the Copa America 2024 matches?
The group stage of the Copa America will have different schedules. On Day 1, Group A will be played at 8 pm ET, while the matches of the other three groups will be at 6 pm ET for the first one and at 9 pm ET for the second one.
For Day 2, all matches will be at 6 pm ET for the first and 9 pm ET for the second, while on the third and decisive match days to define the qualifiers for the quarterfinals, in Group A and B, the two games will be at 8 pm ET, and in Groups C and D, they will be at 9 pm ET.
The quarterfinals will be played from July 4-6 at 6 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET. The semifinals are scheduled for July 9 and 10, both at 8 p.m. ET, the same time the final will be played on July 14.
